Subject Description

A dynamic depiction of God the Father during the first act of creation. The figure is shown in extreme foreshortening, with arms outstretched to divide light from the void. Accompanied by cherubic figures, the composition emphasizes divine power and motion through muscular anatomy and spiraling form.
